Harlem Writer’s Guild Presents ‘Voices of Poetry’ At Countee Cullen

Good evening, everyone. Yes, I know I dropped a post last night, but I just have more to share with you. It’s August, and I usually get reflective around this time of year. Blame #leoseason. *Smile*  Anyway, on to the reason for this entry. Last Thursday, I attended an event presented by the Harlem Writer’s Guild at Countee Cullen Library called ‘Voices of Poetry’.

I submitted a piece about the event to Harlem World Magazine, and it was published today. I’d like to thank them for running the story, as I look to branch out a little bit as a writer beyond this blog. To take a look at the write up, visit the link below:

  1. The poetry reading was a lot of fun. Members of the Harlem Writers Guild presented their own works as well as the poetry of others. It was a great event. I hope to see more of these .
